Most Important Deal
The JP Morgan deal gets this award for a number of reasons: for being the first collaborative teaming arrangement, so prestigious, it was worthy of naming “Pinnacle Alliance” in which CSC, Bell Labs, AT&T Solutions, Andersen Consulting, and Bell Atlantic Integration Systems all participated; for the fact that it’s worth $2 billion, which alone merits attention; for showing how critical outsourcing is to the investment banking community; and lastly for the general consensus among the outsourcing community that this had the most far reaching implications of proving outsourcing is truly a competitive advantage.
