Capgemini signs contract with Norwegian Labour and Welfare Administration

Paris, Oslo, 1 July 2014 – Capgemini Norge AS, part of the Capgemini Group, one of the world’s foremost providers of technology, outsourcing and consulting services has been awarded the contract for managing and developing The Norwegian Labour and Welfare Administration (NAV)’s financial systems. The contract has a value of approximately 30 million euros and will run up to six years.
Capgemini will maintain and develop NAV’s financial systems, including systems for assignment, ledger and for managing invoices. NAV’s ledger system handles just over 230 billion Norwegian crowns annually.”We are delighted that NAV have chosen us, says Ola Furu, CEO of Capgemini Norge AS. “This is an important contract for us, and it supports our strategy to even further strengthen our position as a partner to the public sector in Norway“.Capgemini was awarded the contract after an open tender process.
