Tech Mahindra Strengthens Presence in Europe

Tech Mahindra Ltd., a specialist in digital transformation, consulting and business re-engineering, has further extended its presence in Europe by inaugurating a new office space in Göteborg, Sweden.

This marks the opening of Tech Mahindra’s first Delivery Center in Sweden, a step toward the company’s commitment to the Göteborg region. Spread over 1300 square meters, the new office is well-equipped to support 120 employees. This is also a stepping stone to generating new opportunities for job creation and harnessing the rich pool of talent in the region by partnering with local universities.

“Europe has been a strategic market and our business footprint spans across 20 countries in the region. We continue to invest in partnerships with niche and specialist vendors. Investing deeply in this region to create more job opportunities is also a reaffirmation of our long-term commitment,” said Vikram Nair, President – Europe, Tech Mahindra.

Honorable Mayor of Göteborg felicitated the company with the prestigious “Key to the Heart of Gothenburg” award recently. The award is instituted by Business Region Gothenburg.

Recently the Honorable Prime Minister of India, Mr. Narendra Modi, officially launched the website after addressing a gathering at the UNESCO Headquarters in France. The website is developed by Tech Mahindra as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility initiative to “Honor Modi’s vision of Yoga as a globally uniting force,” intends to be a one-stop solution for all information related to the International Day of Yoga, 2015.

In line with that, Tech Mahindra has organized a Yoga introduction session on the inauguration day of their Office in Gothenburg. Tech Mahindra Gothenburg associates will support and participate in a Yoga awareness session on the International Day of Yoga (June 21, 2015).

Tech Mahindra has a robust ecosystem in Europe with over 140 clients and eight development centers. Europe also contributes 33% of the revenue generated by Tech Mahindra globally powered by 6,000 employees across various countries in the region.
